PUSHKIN-THEMED COMPETITION FOR UK SCHOOL STUDENTS

Attention: REGISTRATION EXTENDED UNTIL 15 December 2016

The Federal State Budget Educational Institution "Pushkin Russian Language Institute" (hereinafter — Pushkin Institute) conducts the Pushkin-themed Competition for UK Schools Students (hereinafter – Competition) with the support of the British Council and as part of the events of Russia-UK Year of Language and Literature 2016.

Pushkin Institute will direct the competition activities under the aegis of the Ministry for Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The major tasks and objectives of the Competition are as follows:

Participants of the Competition will be UK school students. Age of participants: 10+

The working language of the Competition is English.

Three winners of the Competition will be awarded with the certificates for 1-week Russian language courses at the Pushkin Institute Summer School in summer 2017, which will also include city tours.

The contest assignments include direct question type tasks as follows:
